This workshop will be facilitated by David Hodes and
Peter Crossley and will follow the schedule below, using real-world case
studies as examples.
Schedule:
11:00am to 1:00pm
Defining the resource pool; analysis, scope,
structure, skills definition
Designing a compliant project template; the rules,
the process; the logic and testing the results for optimal performance.
Applying the template to real-world projects;
declaring work status, identifying the Critical Chain and getting
realistic due dates.
1:00pm to 1:30pm
Break for Lunch
1:30pm to 3:30pm
Concerto and its implementation; its architecture,
system requirements, installation and maintenance plan.
Pipelining; defining the drum resource, getting
projected dates, project prioritisation decisions and results.
Project execution; reading and reporting portfolio
performance, WIP and resource work pattern analysis. The tools and data
management overhead.
Dynamic constraint management; suggested frequency,
methods and results.
HR training requirements; roles, responsibilities and
outcomes.
